(Updated June 16 2020)
SBRM will be making important changes to our business in order to better protect and support our community, our customers, and our associates during this COVID-19 pandemic. Following the advice of the federal, provincial, and local government, the BC Coast Guard, as well as healthcare organizations, staying home or limiting non-essential travel within your home province is the most effective method to continue to flatten the curve and to protect the health and safety of the vulnerable population living on the Gulf Islands.
To do our part as a local business on Gabriola, SBRM has implemented the following changes as measures to protect and support our community during these trying times:
• We are now accepting transient moorage which is restricted to BC boaters. We have reduced the amount of transient moorage available this season and reservations must be made by calling 250-247-8662. We ask that guests arrive provisioned and limit non-essential visits into the village.
• Annual moorage holders can reach out to us to discuss a monthly payment plan option for their contract renewal if they are facing financial hardships during this difficult circumstance.
• Our marina office is operating on reduced hours and all inquiries should be made by sending an email to info@silvabay.com or a phone message at 250-247-8662.
We would like to thank you for your continuous support in Silva Bay Resort & Marina. As the situation evolves, we will continue to monitor and update our policies and procedures as necessary.
Sincerely,
Silva Bay Resort & Marina
